Shanghai International Arbitration Center and Singapore International Mediation Centre Sign Cooperation Agreement

On July 27, 2023, the seminar on "Prospects for the Development of Arbitration and Mediation Mechanisms in the Asia-Pacific Region" was successfully held. During the conference, Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) and Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC) signed a cooperation agreement.
SHIAC and SIMC will collaborate to develop a dispute resolution mechanism called "Litigation-Arbitration-Mediation" to encourage arbitration and mediation in cross-border disputes. The collaborative efforts will include informative sessions to explore innovative solutions for conflict resolution. Additionally, the organizations will provide expert recommendations and readily accessible locations for the arbitration and mediation process.
